Privacy, Disclaimer and Image Policy
Three short parts on one page: what we collect about you (very little), how far to trust what you read here, and how to ask us to remove an image.
Privacy policy
The short version: we have no ads, no tracking analytics and no email list. The only personal information we keep is what you choose to send us, mainly a rating or review, plus the basic records every web server keeps.
Who we are
CrumbleDrop (crumbledrop.com) is an independent website that reviews, rates and tracks the Crumbl weekly menu. It is independently owned and run. For anything on this page, email us at hello@crumbledrop.com.
What we collect and why
- Ratings and reviews you submit
- What
- Your star rating, your review text if you write one, the name you type, the date, and your IP address.
- Why
- To show ratings on flavor pages, to allow one rating per person per flavor, and to block spam.
- Shown
- Your rating, review and the name you typed are public. Your IP address never is.
- Kept
- For as long as the review is on the site, or until you ask us to delete it.
- Server records
- What
- Your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time, recorded by our web host, Hostinger.
- Why
- To keep the site secure and working.
- Kept
- For a limited time under Hostinger’s own policies.
- Emails you send us
- What
- Your email address and whatever you write.
- Why
- To answer you, fix a mistake or handle a request.
- Kept
- As long as needed to deal with your message.
- Cookies
- What
- None for ordinary visitors. WordPress sets login cookies only for the people who run the site.
- Why
- Site administration.
We do not ask for your email address to rate a flavor. Our fonts and images load from our own server, so reading CrumbleDrop does not send your details to Google Fonts or similar services.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or share your personal information, including in the sense used by California privacy law.
- We do not run advertising or tracking analytics. If that ever changes, we will update this page first and ask for consent where the law requires it.
- We do not send newsletters or marketing email.
Who else handles your information
Hostinger hosts the site and stores its data on its servers, which may be in a different country from you. Our rating system is the Site Reviews plugin, which stores reviews in our own website database. When you click “Order at Crumbl” you leave our site, and Crumbl’s own privacy policy applies there.
Your choices and rights
Wherever you live, you can email us to ask for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete your review and the information stored with it. Tell us the flavor and the name you used so we can find it. We reply within 30 days. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, we rely on our legitimate interest in running a secure, spam-free review site, and you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
CrumbleDrop is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us a review or personal details, email us and we will delete it.
Security
The whole site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and only the people who run CrumbleDrop can see unpublished reviews and IP addresses.
Changes to this policy
When we change how we handle information, we update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
Disclaimer
CrumbleDrop is an independent review site. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to Crumbl, LLC in any way. “Crumbl” and all related names, logos, product names and imagery are trademarks of Crumbl, LLC and are used here for identification and editorial commentary only. Cookie photography is © Crumbl, LLC unless credited otherwise. Menu, pricing and nutrition information changes every week and we update weekly; always confirm with Crumbl before ordering.
The menu changes every week
Crumbl’s weekly menu runs Monday to Saturday, and we update CrumbleDrop when each new menu is announced. Crumbl can still change items, names or availability at any time, and individual stores can differ. Check the Crumbl app or your store before you go.
Prices
Crumbl’s prices vary by location. When we show a price, it is the price we saw at a named store on a stated date, not a national price.
Nutrition and allergens
Calories and nutrition figures come from Crumbl’s own published information for the whole item. If you have a food allergy or a dietary need, always confirm ingredients and allergens with your store: recipes change and kitchens share equipment. Nothing on CrumbleDrop is medical or dietary advice.
Ratings and reviews
We show three kinds of rating and always keep them apart:
- Crumbl rating: the rating and rating count Crumbl shows for an item, copied from Crumbl and dated.
- Reader rating: ratings left by CrumbleDrop readers. They are our readers’ opinions, not ours.
- Our verdict: written only for items we have actually tasted.
We never blend them into one score, we never pay for or write fake reviews, and we never remove a rating because it is negative. We remove reviews only for spam, abuse or personal information. Our ranking method is published on the Best Crumbl Cookies page.
Leaks and next week’s menu
Information about upcoming flavors is labelled Confirmed, Strong Rumor or Unconfirmed Speculation. Rumors can be wrong, and we say so.
Money and free products
CrumbleDrop has no business relationship with Crumbl. The “Order at Crumbl” buttons are ordinary links that earn us nothing. We pay for the items we taste, and we accept no payment, free products or gift cards in exchange for coverage. If any of that ever changes, we will say so clearly on the pages it affects.
Mistakes
If you spot something wrong, email us at hello@crumbledrop.com and we will check and correct it.
Use of this information
Everything on CrumbleDrop is provided for general information, as is and without warranties. We are not responsible for decisions made or losses suffered from relying on it.
Image and takedown policy
The images we use
- Official Crumbl photography, used to identify each item in our independent reviews and commentary. Crumbl, LLC owns these photos, and every page credits them in the footer.
- Our own photos, taken by CrumbleDrop and owned by us.
- Reader photos: we do not accept them yet. When we do, the upload form will explain exactly what permission you give us.
We use Crumbl’s images only to show which item we are talking about, never to sell Crumbl products or to suggest a partnership. We replace official photos with our own over time.
How to ask us to remove an image
If you own an image on CrumbleDrop, or act for the person or company that does, and you want it removed, email hello@crumbledrop.com with:
- The address of the page and which image you mean.
- Who you are, and a statement that you own the rights to the image or are authorized to act for the owner.
- How we can reach you.
What happens next
We reply within 2 business days. When a request is valid, we remove or replace the image within 5 business days and tell you when it is done. The same address handles questions about how Crumbl’s name or product names appear on the site.
Using our content
You are welcome to quote a sentence or two from CrumbleDrop with a link back to the page. Please do not copy our reviews, rankings or own photos in full.
Write to us
Privacy requests, corrections and image takedowns all go to one address. We read every message.
